たまには真面目に思索してみる

R30氏のブログを読んでいて、思索。
仕事柄、「知の共有」とか「ナレッジデータベース」の話が社内でも頻発するけど、その議論に加わっているときに感じる違和感を的確に表現しているなぁ、と思う。

インターネットという、きわめて不確実性が高い世界の中で、じゃあこれが全てファクトで構成された巨大な「知の泉」になればいいのか、と思うとそこにはものすごい違和感を感じる。
今だってあたかも、インターネットが自分の外部記憶媒体になったような錯覚を覚えることもあるけれど、それはとても危険なことだと思う。
氏の指摘ともラップするが、そこには「過去の（他人の）叡智による結論」を見てしまうからだ。
おまけにファクトかどうかも怪しいのが現状だからなおのことアブナイ。
そこには、原体験もなければ、ヘタをすると追体験すらもない。ただ、先人の出した結論を読むだけである。
ミステリー小説で最初の殺人があったところで、いきなり最後から２０ページを読む。そこになんの意味があるんだろうか？（もはや娯楽ですら無い、でも「犯人は知ったぞ！」）

氏の話とは少しずれるが、「考えること」と「知ること」の違いは大きい。「知ること」は必ずしも「考えること」にはつながらない。
むしろ、知ったことによって思考が停止することの方がよっぽどリアルにあり得る話で、振り返ってみれば我が身もふくめて、そういったケースを多々目にする。
「それは誰それがこういう結論を出したから」という物言いがいろんなところで聞かれる。そこで思考も停止する。
「知らなかったらググれ。そこには結論がある。」

元来、生理学的には人間というものは「生産に従事したい生き物」らしいので、消費だけの生活には元来耐えられない構造らしい。（ややマユツバではあるが。）
一方で、単純生産行為は単なるルーチンなので、そこには「創造性」は少ない。思考することになしに素晴らしい創造ができるのは感性で創造できる天才芸術家のみなので、凡人としては考えて考えて、自分の見える視界の中で創造するしかない。
で、やがて壁にぶつかって、殻を破って、新たなことを「知る」。そんで、また「創る」。創って、「生産（量産）する」。

話を元に戻すと、結局どこまで行ったってハラに落ちないものは右から左に流れていくだけだし、それを堰きとめるといつの間にか頭がデカく重くなって、支えるだけで精一杯になる。

たかが１０年で、人類１億年の叡智が物凄い勢いで結晶化されているけど、その中から上澄みだけをさらってファクトを残すことには意味がないと思う。
違うな、意味はあるけど、とても怖いことだと思う。
みんなが同じファクトを共有してる世界って、どんなんだ。

結局、僕らは身の丈にあわせて考えて考えて考えて、で、ちょっとだけわかって、でも答えが知りたくて思わずググって、そんな生活をするより他なくて、それでいいのじゃないかな、と勝手に結論づけた日でしたとさ。

お、真面目だ。（苦笑）
